Many
people believe that it is just too expensive to have professional
videos done of their events, so they usually rely on relatives or
themselves to capture the event. Most times these videos end up
not capturing the moment completely or are so shaky that they are
"un-watchable" for any prolonged periods. This will
usually result in very limited watching of the event once it has occurred.
Sure, anyone can
point and press the button on the video camera, but not everyone can deliver when it
comes to making a quality production. Years ago when I got
married, hiring a videographer to cover my wedding was the last thing on my mind,
fortunately it wasn't the same with my wife and in hindsight I was
glad my wife saw the benefit, because years later, even though the tapes have degraded, I can
relive my wedding day as if it were only yesterday. You would be
surprised how time erodes even a healthy young memory of a spectacular event like
your wedding. In your mind you tend to only remember bits and
pieces and forget the bigger picture. For many of these types of
event, if you are the one planning them, you basically go through the day so quickly, and just
want it to be over without any hitches, that you never truly enjoy it
until afterwards. That's where the videos and photographs
come in. Even
though the quality of video has improved much since my own wedding
was captured, I still
treasure it along with my wedding photographs and they have always
helped me remember the true reason why I got married many years
